By accessing and using the Ascend community portal, you agree to the following terms of use. These guidelines exist to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all members.

1. Membership & Eligibility

Ascend is an invite-only platform for HR and L&D professionals. Members are expected to provide accurate information and maintain a professional tone in all interactions.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Share knowledge, experiences, and insights that are helpful and relevant.

  • Avoid self-promotion, unsolicited sales, or unauthorized advertising.

  • Do not post misleading, harmful, or offensive content.

3. No Solicitation Policy

This community is a space for learning and collaboration—not for selling. Do not promote your services, products, events, or businesses unless explicitly approved by the moderators.

4. Content Ownership & Attribution

  • Articles submitted from external sources must be posted without edits.

  • High-resolution cover images and full references must be included.

  • Each article should end with the original citation, including source, author, and publication date.

5. Community Conduct

All members must:

  • Follow community etiquette and posting guidelines.

  • Respect moderator decisions.

  • Avoid spam, excessive posting, or disruptive behavior.

6. Moderation & Violations

Moderators reserve the right to edit or remove content that violates these terms. Disciplinary actions include:

  • First offense: Friendly reminder

  • Second offense: Formal warning

  • Third offense: Account suspension or removal
